This increase in registrations meant that the total number of registered vehicles increased 2.3%.
Per 1,000 inhabitants (estimated population), there are 1,171 units including all vehicles, and 790
counting only cars. This means that on average there are more vehicles than residents of this country.
Over the last few years, the demand for electric and hybrid vehicles benefitted from the
incentives to purchase eco-friendly vehicles promoted by the Government (Engega Plan). In 2021,
