INSTITUTIONAL INFORMATIONS

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Andorra is a public body whose main functions are the following:

• Creation of its own census of commercial, industrial and service activities, supplementary to the Government Register of Commerce and Industry.
• Protection of the general interests of commerce, industry and services.
• Promotion of the development of the general economy of the country
• Acting as a consultative organ for the authorities in the financial field.
• Promoting openness in the market and fair competition and overseeing its observance.
• Issuing certificates of origin and other documents related with mercantile transit.
• Collaboration with the education authorities in the management of practical training in businesses, promoting and disseminating commercial and industrial instruction and promoting applied research.
• Creating, organising and managing organs and services of arbitration, and issuing opinions and expert reports on mercantile and industrial matters.
• Creating and administrating markets for contracting.
• Promoting the holding of trade fairs, exhibitions, congresses and meetings of interest for commerce, industry and services.
• Compiling the trading customs and usages, and the practices followed in business.
• Reporting to and advising its members, both individually and collectively, over business matters.
